SHRIMP STIR-FRY WITH BUCKWHEAT RAMEN NOODLES

  • 1/3 Lb Shrimp, Raw, Peeled, Deveined

  • 2 Tsp Soy Sauce

  • 2 Tsp Olive Oil, Extra Virgin

  • 2.4 Oz Buckwheat Ramen Noodles

  • 1/8 Cup Red Onion, Sliced

  • 1/2 Cup Celery, Sliced

  • 1/2 Kale, Chopped

  • 2 Garlic Cloves, Finely Chopped

  • 2 Tbsp Sirtfood Spice Blend*

  • 1/2 Cup Chicken Stock, Use Low Sodium If Necessary

  1. Heat frying pan to med/high heat. Add Shrimp, 1 Tsp Soy Sauce, and 1 Tsp Olive Oil. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes.

  2. Transfer Shrimp to a plate. Wipe the pan out with a paper towel, as you will be using it again.

  3. Cook the Buckwheat Ramen Noodles in boiling water for about 5 minutes as directed on the package, Drain, and set aside.

  4. Meanwhile, fry the Red Onion, Celery, Kale, Garlic, and Sirtfood Spice Blend* in the remaining Soy Sauce and Olive Oil over med/high heat for 2 to 3 minutes. Add the Chicken Stock and bring to a boil, then simmer for 1 to 2 minutes, until the vegetables are heated yet still crunchy.

  5. Add the Shrimp and Noodles* to the pan. Bring back to a boil, then remove from the heat and serve.
